Time is important for a baby's milk. It is necessary to also memorize the quantity of milk.
At my home, the following tables were made from Excel.
Various information was recorded in paper.

The application which performs childcare record with therefore a smart phone (iPhone, iPod touch) was made.
Moreover, the function of the childcare diary was also added. A photograph can also be registered.
It expects to be helpful to the mother who is doing her best in child-rearing.
Baby'sRecord application
Concept
The childcare record application was made from the following basic philosophy.
- It enables it to register child-rearing record simply.
- The contents of record are "sleep", "poupou", "pee", "breast feed", and "bottle feed".
- It enables it to correspond to two or more children.
- It is made for the child's photograph to indicate the parts [ face ] by expansion.
- It enables it to attach a photograph to a diary.
- A photograph is expandable.
- The date is moved simply.
- It can be made to perform backup of data, and file sharing with the others.
Function
The following thing is possible for a this application.
- Record of "sleep", "poupou", "pee", "breast feed", "bottle feed" for every child.
- The inspection of the record for one day of the whole, and the date movement by scrolling.
- Two or more children's registration and a selection change.
- Deletion of the child who registered, and revival of the child who deleted.
- A setup of a child's "name", "birth date", "photograph".A photograph is expandable.
- Record of a diary, and registration and deletion of a photograph (up to five per day).
- The expansion display of the registered photograph.
- The date change using a calendar.
- Backup using the file sharing function of iTunes. And restoration of data.
Child selection
In this application, two or more children's childcare record can be registered.
Please choose the child who wants to register childcare record.
- The child who attaches childcare record is chosen.
- A child's addition is the upper right "+" button.
- A child's deletion is an upper left "garbage can" button.
- Child information is changed with the ">" button on a child's right.
Child edit
The tap of the ">" button on the right of a child selection screen or the upper right "+" button is carried out. It moves to the screen into which child information is edited.
Please set up a name, a birth date, and a photograph.
Since it is an initial value immediately after downloading an application, please change child information first.
- A name, a birth date, and a photograph are edited.
- A photograph is expandable.
- Once expanding and updating a photograph, it is unexpandable once again. Please reread a picture again.
Childcare record
"Sleep", "poupou", "pee", "breast feed", and "bottle feed" are registered by carrying out the tap of the screen.
- The present time zone is green and is displayed.
- If the tap of the screen is carried out, Picker will be displayed for every item, and it will be registered if the tap of the enter button is carried out.
Registration will be deleted, if deletion is chosen by Picker and the tap of the enter button is carried out.
- "Sleep":It is chosen, although time (every 5 minutes) is specified and it sleeps or wakeup.
- "poupou":The number of times is chosen.
- "pee":The number of times is chosen.
- "breast feed":Time (every 1 minute) is chosen. A baby food can also be chosen.
- "bottle feed":Quantity (every 10 cc) is chosen. A baby food can also be chosen.
- If the tap of the inspection button is carried out, the record for one day of the whole can be seen.
Childcare record inspection
If the tap of the inspection button of a childcare record screen is carried out, the record for one day of the whole can be seen.
- The childcare record for one day is displayed.
- The date is moved by scrolling on either side.
- If the tap of the edit button is carried out, it will return to the edit display of the selected date.
Diary
A diary is recordable day by day. It is a diary common to all the children.
Up to five photographs can be registered into a diary. An expansion display is possible for a photograph.
- A diary is recorded.
- Movement of a day is possible with the button of the upper right or the upper left.
- Up to five photographs can be registered with a photograph addition button.
- The photograph which carries out the tap of the photograph deletion button, and is displayed in the center is deleted.
- The full-screen display of the photograph registered with the expansion display button is carried out.A photograph is changed by scrolling on either side.
- In an expansion display, a photograph is expanded further and can be displayed.
Calendar
The date is changed in a calendar.
- If the tap of the date of a calendar is carried out, the date will change.
- Movement of a month is possible with the button of the upper right or the upper left.
- A green date is today. A yellow date is a date chosen.
- A square mark is attached on the day when the photograph is registered.
- A star mark is attached on the day when the diary is registered.
Backup
The recorded data is backed up using the file sharing function of iTunes.
A file sharing function cannot be used in the version earlier than iTunes 9.1. Please upgrade iTunes.
If a terminal is connected to a personal computer and it synchronizes with iTunes, the document folder of a Baby'sRecord application can be seen.
The folder which backs up data is created.
All the files are chosen (click the top file, and the bottom file is clicked next, pushing Shift), and a preservation place button is clicked and saved.
A file is copied to a personal computer as follows.
It recommends carrying out backup periodically.
When the backed up file is edited, after data restoration cannot be guaranteed.
Data restoration
Backed up data is restored by using the file sharing function of iTunes.
Please be sure to stop a childcare record application completely in the following procedures before data restoration.
- A childcare record application is ended and a home button is pushed twice.
(The application under present operation is displayed below) - The icon of application is pushed for a long time.
("-" is displayed on the upper left of an application icon) - The tap of "-" of a childcare record application is carried out, and an application is stopped completely.
- A terminal is connected to a personal computer and it synchronizes with iTunes.
- Click the additional button of the file sharing function of iTunes, and it chooses all the backed up files.
- All files are overwritten.
- By starting a childcare record application, it checks that data is restored.
